getting it off my chest.

o.k So I think I can write this because Scott hardley ever looks at our blog. Is it me or do I have the most insensitive husband around? Don't get me wrong Scott does a lot for our family and around the house, but when it comes to me and this pregnancy, no sympathy whatsoever.
I was only planning on working through next week. It has been harder and harder for me to stand and do hair, lean over the sink etc. He thinks I should work until I have the baby. He has no idea the pain it causes me. Not to mention I would hate to go into labor doing someones hair. Can you see me rushing to the hospital, with a client having a full head of foils in her hair? I know he is stressed over finances. We are in a really tight spot right now. But geez. It use to be that if I said I was thirsty he would get me a drink of water. Now he sits there watching t.v. While I get my fat pregnant butt out of bed and waddle down the stairs to get my own. Usually with him yelling will you grab me one too?
I get emails from a baby website telling me what to expect every week. this weeks said Stay off your feeet as much as possible etc... I sent it to Scotts email and highlighted it. He thought that was pretty funny.

Then I think it is weird he never wants to talk to the baby or feel him kick or anything. I know he is excited but I don't know. I just had to get it off my chest, because I am in tears about everything lately. I cannot wait to get my hormones back to normal.

Don't be sad girl! And yes, stay off your feet. You are getting so close and it would be hard standing, doing hair every day. Is it strange that you have carried this baby so long?

Hormones are the worst. They certainly don't help matters. I think the things a pregnant woman goes through are completely incomprehensible for a man. Even if they try, there's no way they've gone through 9 months of nausea, back pain, foot pain, inability to sleep, etc. Just think- you've only got a little while until the baby comes and then a little bit longer and your hormones will equalize a bit!

Hang in there! Matt never wanted to feel Kade kicking...he thought it was weird. Scott is a great guy, he loves you and the kids. You are his life. It will be easier!

It is so hard the last month! Hang in there girl! He will be so worth it! I am sorry you are having a hard time! Wish I could help! I know men so don't get the hormones, back ache and so on and so forth! Take a break and put your feet up as much as you need! Good luck! Love you! Kelsi

You need a break! A break from that belly, a break from a tight budget, just a break from stress. I totally hear you. Last year when I had Henry I was pooped and broke! It makes everything seem harder. But just one more month and you will be feeling so much better.

I'll be thinking of you!

He is a normal husband. They have never had to experience pregnancy, so I think it is natural for them to be a little insensitive. He loves you though. Keep your chin up, you are getting so close to the end.

I have to laugh a little just because I think that was your husband that commented last right??:^) Oh girl...i feel your pain!! Pregnancy is so hard, and the last month is absolutely miserable! Good luck with everything, and don't feel bad at all when you sit down to take a breather, I'm sure Scott would really want you to do it...they just tend to have no idea how hard it is!!:^)

Hang in there; pregnancy does suck. I have to say, I never liked it much and it's hard that times are rough right now; Scott is probably feeling pretty stressed; I think this baby will bring so much joy to your family. And just think, he will be here SOOON! Make Scott call us when you have him so we can come visit!

I thought this looked fun and was curious to see who would acually do it. So, even if I do not know you, sign the guestbook
