Crews Monsters University 6th birthday scare games
just realized it has been an entire year since I wrote on this blog. Today we had a monster party for Crew. We called it the scare games. I wanted to take you through some of the things we did that made the party a huge success. First was my personalized invite (of course!)
we also designed Crew his own shirt and hat to wear at the party
once people rsvp'd and I got them registered I started making their monsters university
badges and flags with their names on them for the rally. My daughter McKenzie was the registration
worker at the front when they got it in,
Once in we had our Monster rally. I got them excited about the games. We played Monsters University music and they waved their flags.they also autographed Crews Monsters university book I made him from Artscow.
Next started the Scare games..
craft class. We glued eyes and hair on glass rocks from the dollar store than glued them onto sticks.
next was the Dont drop my eyeball or step on the spikes game. The kids had to use a spoon either in their hand or in their mouth to carry an eyeball made from a ping pong ball across a bunch of spikey balls bought at Zurchers without toughing them or they would blow up.
Last game was th throw archie the pig through a square in the window. Man did my window we made get destroyed. Those kids can throw. They had to keep scooting back to see if they could get archie in
Lunch!!!! My favorite part. Everyone loves food. I sent them to the Monster cafe. On the menu was monster sandwiches, potato crisps, eyeball grapes and slime punch which we just mixed sherbert ice-cream with sprite.
after presents we had graduation and the scare games awards. The kids were awarded trophy's with hershey kisses inside. All the kisses had a sticker on the bottom that said Happy birthday crew. They also got Monster bags which I made. I used sponges and bags from the dollar store glued them all together and loaded them with lots of monsters university stuff and monster suckers. They also received their graduation certificate.
and of course because i am a photographer they went to the scare booth and got pictures taken which will also be souvenirs.
