Does anyone else out there feel like they are destined to have sick kids all the time. I swear, I cannot get a break. First it is Crew having RSV for three months. My niece Kelsi has been home sick more times then I can count.( In fact she came home this morning from school). I think the school is sending me a letter saying she has missed an unacceptable amount of school this year. Some Gaurdian I am! McKenzie has not gone to school for a week. The Dr. Says it is viral, but I swear she is getting worse. I am taking her back in today.
What am I doing wrong? If anyone can answer that I would be forever greatful.
yes, i tell my kids to wash their hands after going to the bathroom ( if they always do it or not I am not sure). Yes, my house is clean (most days anyway), We take our vitamins, I lysol my house like every half hour it seems.
I am beginning to think that I am just a germ carrier. You better not get near me!

Kim got viral encephalitis when she was 2 months and it wiped out her immune system. She spent the rest of her first year and half of life getting everything that wind blew in.
As for the older kids, they get stuff from school.
Try putting some echinacea in dark 100% juice (dark juice masks the yuckiness) each morning for a couple of weeks to help strengthen the immune systems of your family (excpet Crew).
Email me for my number if this is as clear as mud.
Bummer. I'm sure they pick up so much crap from school.
I hope McKenzie gets well soon.
I don't have any advice or helps, but I feel for you! I hope everyone in your family has a nice long stretch of good health.
I am a massive germ-a-phobe so I am constantly making my kids wash and we own stock in germ x since we use it so much;) We still end up sick a lot through the winter months. I've come to expect it and find lots of fun throw-up buckets, (currently using bright colored sand pails)ha ha! This is why Spring is like echinacea for my soul!!
Sorry! The weather doesn't help at all. I have been bragging that we are all doing well and then wouldn't you know it... Kade has been sick for a week now. Hang in there, I think summer is coming. But with snow on the ground the middle of April one never knows.
