Not fun at our house at all. For the past week, Crew has been running a fever of 100-101. We took him to the Dr on Wed. She said he just has a really bad cold and R.S.V was negative. We then took him back on Saturday morning because he wasn't getting any better. Unfortunately he didn't even see a Dr. Scott took him and saw a nurse. She said Just a bad cold. I knew something was not right. I have never seen a cold produce such a high fever for so long. The Dr.s said you can have a fever with a virus for 2-5 days. I called the Dr. Back that night and demanded to see a DR. He said basically the same thing but that he had a tiny ear infection that somehow got missed. He said it probably started within the last few hours. He gave us a antibiotic for that and sent us to the hospital to have his sinus's drained. Crew could hardly breathe. He also wanted us to do some blood work just to play it safe. And it is a good thing we did. I got the call this morning, his R.S.V turned out positive. I hate seeing my baby this sick and now I feel like I am getting sick.
Please pray for our little Crew!

hey I'm sorry to hear about Crew hopefully he gets better soon, let me know if you need anything....my kids have never had it but I can only imagine how miserable it is!!
take lots of vitamin c and hang in there!
I hope he recovers quickly. How scary. Glad you followed your instinct.
How frustrating! Doctors should always go with the mother's instinct! We always know when something isn't quite right...I hope he gets better soon. No fun having to deal with that.
I am so sorry to hear that your little man is still so sick. Hang in there!
Way to fight for what you feel.
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about little Crew. Micah had RSV when he was 8 months old, so I know what you are going through.
I hope Crew feels better soon, and you, too!
I am excited to see the studio pictures this year! Your pictures look super cute on the blogs!
Smile...it looks good on you!
