Snow Fun

Me personally....HATE THE SNOW!!!! always have. But my family enjoys it. After the first snow fall the girls and dad snow plowed the neighborhood. They had a lot of fun.
Then the next 3 days of snow I had to shovel my guts out while Scott looked for work. I have never shoveled that much in my life. When is spring?

Holiday photoshoot & Christmas traditions

We have so many Christmas traditions we have been able to do a few even with our unfortunate circumstance of no income. We drove to see the festival of lights in Springville, Decorated the house inside and out. Visited Santa and.....

Doing our Christmas lights then having Hot Chocolate and driving to see everyone's lights. However since We do not have income, we do not have gas so it was pretty much a drive around the block.

We had a lot of fun doing a holiday photoshoot. The kids did a great job posing. I think they all turned out super cute. To get a really good look click on the pages to view full view. times are tough

well, it is official, Scott applyed for unemployment Monday and we did not get his paycheck from the last two weeks he worked. I guess there isnt one. I never thought at 34 years of age we would be in this position. I am not sure what we are going to do now. He is on the job search so If anyone is hiring let us know!!

Nightmare Virus & Festival of trees

I got a nasty virus from facebook. I got a video sent to me by a friend ( She did not know it was sent) I clicked on it and got a virus on my computer. Then all the sudden I get emails from my friends on facebook saying I sent them a video which I did not! We saw the virus on the news that night. it said it is used to get personal imfo. Naturally I am stressed and have checked my accounts daily and changed passwords. But wait it isn't over. I ran virus scan got it all out. My internet was then gone. Called Comcast got it fixed. This whole time I used my lap top which is connected to our wireless router to look up accounts etc. I got on my laptop last night and my computer had been taken over. i could not do anything-not even restore it. Finally I found a setting to restore it. Now all I have is a black screen saying missing file. I am devestated I saved forever to get this laptop now I have nothing. I do not know if it is fixable and we really do not have money to fix it. I cannot believe there are such evil people in this world.

We had a lot of fun watching the girls perform at the festival of trees. Crew was still sick but we drug him along anyway and took his and dads picture in front of this little workshop. Soo cute!

Reflection winners

I was a little nervous when the school called me to imform me the girls were winning awards for reflexions again this year and To come to the assembly. They told me they were both winning trophys in the Dance choerography and That McKenzie was winning a trophy for photography. I wasn't sure how the girls would take one coming in first and the other second or third. We dealt with that at a dance compitition before and it was a nightmare. To my surprise, when they called their names they said the girls had tied for first place. So now they go to division level. I was so relieved.

McKenzie won first place in Photography for her picture she took of Crews little foot in black & white.

Congrats to both girls. Now it is off to the divisional level for them!!! They are so lucky they have won reflexions every year they have been in elementary school, which is impressive because our school always has a ton of entrys. I guess they have a little of moms creative nature in them.

Oh and Crew looked so cute in his new little hat & Gloves from Old Navy that I had to post these pictures.

Thanksgiving weekend & Sick

Well, Crew is still Sick and now I am really sick with terrible colds. it has been horrible. I thought I would post a few pictures of our Thanksgiving weekend though.

Uncle Chad spent the night on Wednesday to spend some time with his Nieces and nephew.

we have a family tradition of going over to my moms house early in the morning to watch the parade. Every year Uncle Chad ( My Brother) Buys Krispy Kreme doughnuts and we have Hot Chocolate. The kids all got a Krispy kreme hat even crew. My mom has dinner pics on her camera so i do not have those.

sickness is upon us and early decorating

UGGGGG McKenzie has had a terrible cold & cough for a week now. We have done everything in our power to keep her away from the baby. Sunday night Crew starting coughing and was so stuffy. Now today he is worse. he has an appointment Wed. To get his vaccination shots so I am trying to hold off on taking him to the doctor. I know there is not much they can do. I am so worried his cold is going to turn into RSV. To top it off I have to drag him out today because McKenzie has an eye appointment. Apparently she failed the eye test at school so we are taking her to get checked.
My girls have been bothering us to decorate for Christmas. I know alot of you are saying Already?? Well, decorating is a huge deal at our house. Decorations go everywhere. We figured where we had a bunch of sickies and no one is eating Thanksgiving dinner here, it would be o.k. Of course then I went and sprayed everything down with Lysol.

It was McKenzie's turn this year to top the tree.

twilight review- spoilers

So here is my honest remarks about the twilight movie. Good movie- Loved it because it was twilight. Loved most all the characters. I thought James was Awesome! Bella -good and I even Liked Edward even though ROb was not my first choice. His close-up shots were very nice and attractive. Rosalie Not so much- I pictured her as very sexy woman not just a cute girl. Jacob was good too even though I am an Edward fan through and through :)
I think the film was a little low budget. Camera work needed help. With this big of a movie, I think They should have done a little bit better job.
I loved the Ballet studio fight scene. And there was even some humor that I did not catch when reading the books several times through.
I was a little dissapointed in the baseball scene- cute yes, But in book they expose fangs. No fangs in this movie at all.When I say Fangs I mean vampire teeth. I also did not like the Cullens house- nothing like the book. And the scene of Edward in Field could have been way better. It just looked like body glitter.
Sorry if my thoughts arent to your liking. With how much money this movie makes I am hoping the next will be even better.

True Twilight Fan

O.k So I guess I am a twilight Nerd As Jerid Barney Would call me. I can't Help It. I am so excited to go see the movie. I even have my I love Edward Cullen Shirt on.

the girls had a dance recital and did a great job. MaKayla had a huge Blood blister on the bottom of her foot, so she struggled in most the dances. She felt bad because it was all she could think about so she messed up a few parts. Nobody noticed but her and me of course but she had a hard time. They both did wonderful. Grandpa took us all out for Shakes & Ice-cream after at Denny's

Orthodauntics ????

We took the girls in to the orthodauntist today - yes, I know I cannot spell. It turns out they need a ton of work. A ton of work that costs a ton of money. MaKaylas overbight is so bad and McKenzies isn't too far behind. We cannot afford what needs to be done. At the same time we understand the importance of what needs to be done. I am torn. I cannot go get a second job. I already have the girls schedule, my hair business and a new baby. I just wish we lived in better financial times. I mean really, we are barely making our house payment and putting food on the table. I do not mean to complain, we are very blessed but how do we put a price on a little girl getting teased for Buck teeth. It has not happened yet, but we are worried. A little superficial I know. But I also want her to have a healthy jaw and smile, for both girls.
I guess I will just keep paying my tithing and praying a miracle tree that grows money like my dad joked about when I was little suddenly appears.

twilight, shot & show

My mom & I got tickets to go see twilight. We will not be going opening night but the next morning at 11:00 a.m. Saturday 11/22. I ordered tickets at Cinemark.com for any that want to meet us there. I am so excited!!!

I got my shot today for my tennis elbow-and it killed! I hate that shot but it got so bad I could not even hold Crew. I also took the girls to get their flu shot. What a nightmare. You would think they were two years old the way they screamed about getting them.

The girls were asked to perform at a huge fashion show Dallas Roberts was putting on at the Scera. It was last minute, they had a cancellation and needed someone right away. The lady in charge asked the girls. They did not remember their solos so they did a dance they are doing this year in dance. I guess they did a great job. I could not go I had to do hair. But Scott said it was an awesome show and that everyone was impressed at the girls dance abilities. They got their hair and makeup done before. I could not wait to see what they did. I always love new hair ideas. Well, they came home in a regular old bun. I guess I need to give them ideas. lol. their make-up looked great though. They loved the experience of the show.
